Christmas Gift Design: Origami Ornaments
To several of my friends I gave handmade origami ornaments. The green decorative paper seemed like a good place to start, and the hanger was made from some shimmery embroidery thread.
Christmas Gift Design: Cookie Packets!
The design for my Christmas gifts began with Ikea napkins and greeting cards.
After baking several batches of cookies, all I needed to transform them into small gift packets for friends was: A plastic bag, scissors, bag tie, festive napkin, and rubber band!
My four batches of American cookies: snickerdoodles, sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies, and ranger cookies. The blue freezer bags I'd had in the cupboard for ages and was glad to find a use for.
The final result: cute, individual packets of American cookies! My British friends loved them.

Cute Kitty
My husband was just saying yesterday that I should make some art based on our own cute kitten. These pieces I found today are definitely cute examples of kitten art!

Crystal Barlow illustration and design
I really love the image on her main page, it’s so beautiful. I actually have a photo of some flowers that I want to illustrate that look really similar to these, so it’s a good inspiration for me!
